Digital Solidarity Fund (Batch 8) - Special Grant on Development of Digital Inclusion Mobile Applications
Grant Objective
The Digital Solidarity Fund (DSF) is now open for application for the "Special Grant on the Development of Digital Inclusion Mobile Applications". The objective of this Special Grant is to provide financial support to the development of mobile applications with contents or services that cater for the needs of the disadvantaged groups to encourage and facilitate their adoption of ICT to enhance their quality of life and social integration.
Grant details
This Special Grant serves as a complementary funding support to the "Sponsorship Scheme on Development of Digital Inclusion Mobile Applications" organized by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO).
For each submission of development project, a maximum grant of HK$50,000 from DSF would be applied. In addition, DSF-selected projects MUST also be submitted to the OGCIO Sponsorship Scheme, and the DSF grant would only be confirmed with the condition that the concerned project successfully secures the funding from OGCIO.

(Important notes: DSF Special Grant and OGCIO Sponsorship Scheme are independent funding schemes. It is the responsibility of the applicant organization to submit their application(s) separately to both schemes. DSF-selected project(s) are not guaranteed to Government funding. Applicant organizations are also reminded to observe the differences between the vetting criteria and terms and conditions of grants of the two schemes.)
Eligibility
Eligible applicant shall be an approved charitable institution or trust of a public character under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

Submission of application
Applicant organizations shall submit their application(s) on or before 12:00 noon, 10 December 2012, to the DSF Secretariat:
